Key Stage 5 - Sixth Form
Our 6th Form is set in the original Carwarden House, shown here and from which the school takes its name.
Classes have a maximum of eight students supported by a teacher and a teaching assistant.
We offer a highly personalised curriculum for our students organised in order to promote our students’ independence arid life skills and prepare them for the transition into college, work and independent living.at all three tiers of Entry Lavel comprising:
- College Link course:
- Functional skills in English, mathematics and ICT:
- Personal and social skills:
- Independent communication skills:
- Life and Iiving skills:
- Skills for independence and work
- Vocational options:
- College link courses
- Work experience.
In addition all students have a social communication skills session each week in a small group with a speech and language therapist.
